On 07 04 opens in Academyspace the first exhibition under the Artistic Direction of Max Jorge Hinderer Cruz, to which we would like to invite you.

The exhibition Potosí Principle – Archive uses contemporary artworks to explore the question of where the principle of global exploitation can be found today. The images and objects in the exhibition are contrasted with 36 artistically designed booklets. As in a reading room, the Potosí Principle – Archive thus invites visitors to explore the themes of decolonization, extractivism, inquisition and capitalism for themselves.

The opening will take place in the presence of participating artists. From 5pm you will have the opportunity to explore the exhibition. At 7pm the curator of the exhibition Alice Creischer and Max Jorge Hinderer Cruz, Artistic Director of ADKDW will read text fragments from the archive.
