Talk and Reading from the Potosí Principle – Archive, book no. 4 / 4b

The Hambacher Forst is located in Germany’s largest lignite mining area. By occupying it, climate activists are protesting both specifically against lignite mining and against Germany’s energy policy as a whole, which is based on extractivism, the exploitation of land and resources for profit.

Accompanied by visual material, Stephan Mörsch talks to actors of the resistance in the context of the exhibition Potosí Principle – Archive and about his work Beechtown/Blutbuchingen,Hambacher Forst: Models of the activists’ treehouses which can be seen in the exhibition.
