The Academy of the Arts of the World was founded over ten years ago. In the meantime, not only has the ADKDW evolved, but the fabric of the world is constantly changing - through wars, uprisings, migrations, pandemics, melting ice, devastating fires, scarcity of food resources and shifts in capital. For Not Afraid of Art, the ADKDW has invited artists and thinkers to explore how the world, the world of art and the world of cultural institutions can be rethought. The commissioned works include texts, drawings and sound pieces and circulate in the ADKDW's digital and physical publications.
