MEMORY LAB #7 Performing the Archive

In connection with her new video installation In the Absence of THE MOTHER OF THE L., which raises questions about the processes of transnational migration, artist belit sağ will speak about her artistic approaches. With project participants Jasmina Ališić and Lejla Paratušić, members of ‘Gazi Husrevbeg’ the Bosnian Islamic Cultural Community, the responsibilities and challenges of a collective and living remembrance work in the context of family archives will be discussed in conversation with Aurora Rodonò.

On the site of the installation in the inner courtyard of the cultural community this final edition of the Memory Lab – Laboratory for Collective Memory Practices will merge the explicit discursive and performative approaches of the event series.
